Ahoyhoy,
Many thanks to Mark Dodson and all at Meridian FM – we had a good long chat about many things reggae and UK reggae and we blasted a bit of 'get on don't you ever give up' across the airwaves – hoping to upload a copy of the interview soon. Planning to go back into the studio soon to record the single 'nice work if you can get it' – yes I know, it should be on the album but that is far too sensible an approach.
Ricky Gervais said on Twitter that people were complaining that he only used it to promote his stuff – of course he does,we all do that – it' s just that it works really well for him….
Cheers

Ahoyhoy – gearing up for an interview with Mark Dodson, 9.30 Friday (5th Nov) am on Meridian FM so if you get a chance then listen in. I don't know how long they will give me but I hope that Mark will give me a chance to play a bit from 'nice work if you can get it'.
The weather is rubbish at the moment so maybe a helping of UK reggae will brighten things up a bit – hope some of my friends from FHL get the chance to listen in
Cheers!!
Looking forward to taking to the airwaves again tomorrow morning at 9.30 on Meridian FM, based in East Grinstead.
Taking a CD along to share and talk about. Maybe we will talk about the UK reggae scene generally.
No doubt the comparisons between Ian Dury, Squeeze and Madness may be raised and I am happy with that – and why not, great company to keep.
Oy oy saveloy....what a nice bloke Neil Pringle is, really enjoyed doing that interview and he likes the stuff as well – we all like a bit of UK reggae pop don't we?. Early start to avoid any monkey business with the trains (Monday morning and all that) – a quick cup of coffee and we're off. A bit nerve wracking 'cos you're not quite sure what he's going to ask – but got through it. We've stuck it up here – hope that's all right by them, if it's not we'll take it down.

….amazing, got a call this morning from BBC Radio Sussex wanting to have a chat and play some of my stuff on the Neil Pringle morning show on Monday Morning 31st October at about 8.45 - very exciting, got to turn up early(ish) – apparently they picked it up from a small article in the Brighton Argus (didn't even know it was in there.) Hope to be able to put it up on the site if anybody misses it and wants a listen – try and get some pix too….watch this space….

Don't get the wrong impression with the page 3, its in the Brighton Argus; 'Wilcko Cuts Disc'
here is the article from the Middy, I always used to tease the kids at FHL that when they had their pictures taken they had to use the industrial strength lens….think they must have used it this time as well, thanks to all the people who have texted and contacted me since the press appeared – really appreciate it and hope you like the music
…Wow, a bit more press, this time from the Middy, stuck it on the website somewhere….
….really surprised to see yours truly staring out of the front page of the EG paper this morning, nice article too, many thanks to Sam Satchell and all at the East Grinstead Courier and Observer. On top of that there's some stuff coming out in the Mid Sussex Times this week as well so keep an eye out.
Hope all my friends from FHL are having a great half term
